A seminar about KSUCCA

I was invited by the IWAN research group to give a seminar about the KSUCCA, and what value it should give to Arabic Linguistic and Computational Linguistic research. The seminar will be (in sha Allah) held next Wednesday at 12:00 PM in Almalaz Girls Campus.

P.S. The seminar will be in Arabic.

    Dear Maha,

this sounds great! If you want any help with drafting the presentation, i can send you some ppt slides on NLP for classical arabic – but they will be in English! Also Abdul-Baquee has presented on his work in Arabic, he may have useful material if you ask him.

Is there any chance you could video-record the talk, or even audio-record, then in MoveMaker add as narration over slides to make a youtube video?!

    good luck on Wednesday

Thanks Dr. Atwell for the offer, I think I should prepare my own presentation since it should only be for at most half an hour and concentrate on the usefulness of such a corpus for both Arabic Linguistics and Computational Linguistics.

What if I make an English version of the presentation? will it be helpful?

  2. AbdulMalik Al-Salman, PhD. says:

I wish you a good luck. Is it possible at least to send us your presentation.

    AbdulMalik
